Nikon just announced the successor to the Coolpix S9100 that we reviewed (and loved) last year. Their latest model for 2012, the Coolpix S9300 packs the same awesome 18X zoom lens as last year’s model and adds built-in GPS functionality so you’ll know where you took your photos.

  • 18X optical zoom: 25 – 450 mm lens
  • Optical image stabilizer
  • 3 inch LCD (921,000 pixels)
  • Scene Auto Selector and point-and-shoot modes; No manual controls
  • Camera effects and in-camera panorama mode
  • Built-in GPS for photo geotagging
  • Full HD 1080p movie mode with stereo sound
  • Takes SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards
  • Uses a lithium-ion battery
  • Available in February for $350
  • Comes in your choice of silver, black or red
