Nikon Coolpix S6300

Nikon just introduced the Coolpix S6300 digital camera. While it may share similar design cues as the Coolpix S3300 and S4300, make no mistake here - the Coolpix S6300 packs a superior set of features, including a backlit image sensor for better image quality and various shooting effects, huge 10X optical zoom lens and much better Full HD movie mode.

  • 16 megapixel backlit CMOS imaging sensor
  • 10X optical zoom: 25 – 250 mm lens
  • Optical image stabilizer
  • 2.7 inch LCD (230,000 pixels)
  • Scene Auto Selector and point-and-shoot modes; No manual controls
  • Camera effects and in-camera panorama mode
  • Full HD 1080p movie mode with stereo sound
  • Takes SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards
  • Uses a lithium-ion battery
  • Available in February for $200
  • Comes in your choice of silver, black, blue or red
