There we go. The 2 new dSLRs are great news for professional photographers while the 2 Digital ELPHs with 2.5″ LCDs are powerful & pocketable. The SD30 is a trendy little Digital ELPH has a lot of influence from the "Perpetual Curve design" and comes in 4 colors whose names are just as interesting. Next is the S80 which has a new design, improved movie mode and a live histogram. Both the A610 and A620 are feature filled cameras which are very affordably priced. And lastly, it's the A410 which has the smallest but highest resolution LCD among the newly released Powershot cameras today and has a 3.2x optical zoom lens which starts at 41 mm (!).

Sony Handycam HC32

I just posted my review of the Sony Handycam HC32, a great affordable camcorder with a lot of features (Gotta love the 20x optical zoom!). I may be doing a review or two of a camcorder occasionally, since digital cameras aren't going to replace digital camcorders anytime soon…

…but, my reviews of camcorders won't come out as often as reviews of digital cameras and will outline only the important features - In other words, won't be as in-depth (Such as shutter speeds, aperture, photo effects, etc.).
