Sony Cyber-shot HX10V
The second of the four compact super-zoom cameras announced by Sony today is the Cyber-shot HX10V. Like what Sony did with the Cyber-shot W690 and Cyber-shot WX150 pair, the HX10V here is a souped up variant of the Cyber-shot H90, with the same 18 megapixel sensor as the high-end glass Sony TX200V, better LCD and more fancy picture-taking features.

Sony Cyber-shot H90
Sony has launched four compact super-zoom cameras today, the most basic of them is this camera: the Cyber-shot H90. The Sony Cyber-shot H90 is basically a souped up version of the previously mentioned Sony Cyber-shot W690, with the H90 sporting a larger 16X zoom lens but bigger physical size.

Sony Cyber-shot WX150
Sony has just announced the higher end sibling to the Cyber-shot W690 launched today. The new Cyber-shot WX150 looks to be the top-end model in Sony’s 2012 Cyber-shot WX lineup. The camera shares the brand new 18 megapixel CMOS sensor first seen in the Sony TX200V glass camera launched last month.

Sony Cyber-shot W690
Sony launched a new pocket camera with plenty of optical zoom, the Cyber-shot W690 is a small metal camera with an affordable price, stylish design. This camera is the lower-end and has a slightly less capable feature set compared to the Cyber-shot WX150, announced at the same time, which sports a similar design.

Olympus has announced a new camera, the SZ31MR, which is a camera that sits somewhere between a compact super-zoom and full-sized ultra-zoom camera in terms of size. The MR in the name denotes ‘Multi Recording’ which means the camera can record videos while allowing you to take still photos at the same time.

Pentax WG-2
Pentax has just announced a pair of rugged digital cameras, both called the WG-2. The difference is that the plain Pentax WG-2 doesn’t come with GPS, while the Pentax WG-2 GPS variant… well, as the name suggests, has built-in GPS functionality.

Canon EF 24-70 f2.8L II USM
In addition to the various interesting compact cameras announced today, Canon has also three new lenses to show off.
