A very difficult camera to get the best pictures with. Need a better instruction manual. compact but uses lots of battery power and not very many photos from rechargeables.

mine broke on friday (18th of march 2011) and it had all water in each opening slot where can i take it to?

I don’t think you can use the led while in movie mode despite what this review implies. anyone tried it? if u got it to work let me know how.

mine leaked aswell, the first time under water, everything was clean and closed but it leaked anyway… now ive got it back it doesnt seem to be registering that i have a 8gb card in there… which means i can take about 15 x 12m photos… it suck… anyone have an idea what to do?

Hi Jen,
My daughter received the same camera for Christmas and had hardly used it under water.
At the end of Jan she had it under water and the USB port “gate” popped open, letting water into the camera and ruining it.
We returned it to Olympus via the store we had bought it from and have been very happy to receive it back today all fixed and covered by warrantee!!

Hi Jen, you should consider sending the camera in to Olympus and check if they can get it fixed under warranty (assuming you didn’t take the camera deeper than the mentioned underwater rating)

mine Utough 6010 got water all inside it the 3rd time i took it in the water….no it doesnt work properlly……

before i got in the water with it i always made sure everything was shut properly….and i still got water in it….
