It could be due to some form of error in the camera's circuitry. Unfortunately, you would probably have to check with Olympus regarding camera repair diagnosis and service.

Hi, You could try removing the battery and recharging it, then trying again.

olympus fe310 lens wont close, power light blinks but no power HELP!!!!son leaves for iraq on sun. we wont loads of pics but camera is not working.please HELP!!!!!

QUESTION: I bought a FE310 Olympus camera 7/23/08, with the software. All has been working very well until today (1/6/09). My Master 2 folder AND my sample folder disappeard. I saw the folders this morning, this afternoon they are both gone. Where did they go? I didn’t delete them. I have other pictures they were not in those folders and they are okay. Please tell me what to do, I use that software a lot, as I take a lot of pictures.
