Samsung NX200

Samsung just announced a new compact interchangeable lens camera. The new Samsung NX200 looks to be a brand new competitor to the likes of the Olympus PEN cameras, Panasonic GF3 and Sony NEX 5N.

  • 20.3 megapixel APS-C sized CMOS sensor (made by Samsung)
    1.5X crop factor
  • Samsung NX lens mount; supports i-Function lenses that let you use the focus ring to adjust settings
  • 3 inch AMOLED display (614,000 pixels)
  • Full manual controls with RAW mode and flash hotshoe (no built-in flash)
  • ISO range 100 – 12800
  • 7 FPS continuous shooting mode
  • 1080p Full HD (1920 x 1080) 30 FPS movie mode with stereo sound
  • Takes SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards
  • Uses a lithium-ion battery
  • Availability and price to be announced
