Samsung MV800

Samsung unveiled a new ‘premium’ pocket camera today, the MV800 Multiview. The camera earns its unique moniker from its upward-rotating LCD display where the whole back panel of the camera can be flipped up all the way to face yourself for self-portraits.

  • 26 – 130 mm (f3.3 – f5.9) 5X optical zoom lens
  • Optical image stabilization
  • 3 inch touchscreen LCD; can flip up to 180 degrees for self-portraits
  • Smart Auto with auto scene selection; no manual controls
  • In-camera “Live Panorama” (panning) mode and 3D picture mode
  • 720p HD (1280 x 720) 30 FPS movie mode with sound
  • Takes microSD/SDHC memory cards
  • Uses a lithium-ion battery
  • Availability and price to be announced
