Fujifilm has just released a bunch of new digital cameras today, which spans from super-zoom cameras to premium compact cameras, and from rugged cameras to entry-level models. Here they are:

Fujifilm FinePix HS20 EXR
(Ultra-zoom camera)

  • 16 megapixel EXR CMOS sensor
  • 24 – 720 mm (f2.8 – f5.6) 30X optical zoom lens
  • Sensor-shift image stabilization
  • 3 inch tilt up/down LCD (460,000 pixels) and EVF
  • Full manual controls with RAW image mode
  • Manual zoom and focus rings
  • EXR sensor modes: High resolution, high sensitivity or high dynamic range
  • High-speed continuous shooting, 8 frames per second at full 16 MP resolution
  • Face detection and recognition with software redeye removal
  • New color fringing reduction and edge sharpness enhancing options
  • Motion Panorama automatically captures a panoramic image (360 degrees) as you pan the camera
  • 1080p Full HD (1920 x 1080) 30 FPS movie mode with stereo sound and optical zoom
    720p HD (1280 x 720) 60 FPS and reduced resolution “320 FPS High Speed” modes also available
  • Takes SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards
  • Uses 4 AA batteries
  • Available in March for $500

Fujifilm FinePix S2950, S3200 and S4000
(Ultra-zoom cameras)

  • 14 megapixel traditional CCD sensor
  • S2950: 28 – 504 mm (f3.5 – f5.6) 18X optical zoom lens
    S3200: 24 – 576 mm (f3.1 – f5.9) 24X optical zoom lens
    S4000: 24 – 720 mm (f3.1 – f5.9) 30X optical zoom lens
  • Sensor-shift image stabilization
  • 3 inch fixed position LCD (230,000 pixels) and EVF
  • Full manual controls with restricted aperture control
  • Face, smile and blink detection
  • Built-in photo/video tagging for later uploading
  • Basic Motion Panorama lets you take 3 pictures to create a panorama
  • S3200 and S4000 ONLY: Face recognition
  • S4000 ONLY: Higher resolution LCD

Fujifilm FinePix F500 EXR and F550 EXR
(Compact super-zoom cameras)

  • High-speed continuous shooting up to 12 frames per second at reduced resolution

  • Pro Focus mode combines multiple pictures to create “background blur”
    Pro Low Light mode combines multiple pictures for better picture quality in low-light
  • Motion Panorama automatically captures a panoramic image (360 degrees) as you pan the camera
  • F550 EXR ONLY: Built-in GPS with landmark database and navigation to back where a photo was taken

  • Automatic shooting; no manual controls
  • Basic Motion Panorama lets you take 3 pictures to create a panorama
  • XP30 ONLY: Built-in GPS with landmark database and navigation to back where a photo was taken
  • 720p standard HD (1280 x 720) 30 FPS movie mode with sound and zoom

  • Available in March for $200 for XP20 and $230 for XP30
